Digitalisation\, automation and technological advancements also require a new set of skills and qualifications\, which offer a variety of opportunities for jobs in research\, innovation and development aspects of the field. \nThe seminar organised by the Maltese National Hub for the WestMED Initiative aims to create an opportunity for key stakeholders in the Maltese blue economy to come together to identify the skills gap between the education offer and labour market needs and explore the strengths and available opportunities to bridge this gap.
